Beauty After Bruises is honored to participate in the Highmark Walk for Healthy Communities. As one of the selected charities, we hope to have the LARGEST geographic support network in the entire walk!! It is our goal to have at least one team or participant from every state in the USA and perhaps even a few abroad.
The "Walk" is done entirely on YOUR terms. You can walk, run, swim, bike, roll your wheelchair, skate, ski....you choose!! You can select a specific date for you and your team to participate or select long term goals. Raising money is fantastic, of course, but raising awareness is even more important. You might participate and raise not a single dollar - that is MORE than okay!! By sharing your adventures with others you never know whose life you will change or perhaps even save!! Helping others is invaluable and worth more than all the coins in the world.
